Please join the Offices of Alumni & Parent Relations in Portland, Oregon as we gather for a special evening of conversation and discussion. We'll take over Lincoln Restaurant, owned and operated by Jenn Louis '93 who also serves up the finest of local and sustainable American cuisine. We will be joined by a special guest speaker, Professor Emeritus, Barry Sanders. Sanders is renowned for over 33 years as professor at Pitzer College, teaching English and the History of Ideas. He has authored many thought-provoking books such as A is for Ox: Violence, Electronic Media, and the Silencing of the Written Word (1994) and Alienable Rights: The Exclusion of African Americans in a White Man’s Land, 1619-2000 (2003). Both books were nominated for the Pulitzer Prize. If you are in the Portland area we would love to see you at this event!
